I am delighted to announce the long-awaited relaunch of the CEMETTE skirt sewing pattern!

This process took a little (!) longer than expected. In fact, I pushed back the release date many times, because the initial objective was to offer different skirt lengths. However, after careful consideration, I made the decision to keep the only length offered until now. The main reason is that I prefer to create new patterns rather than rework the old ones.

However, I would like to update the other two patterns that are with the old layout POLLUX and ALVERNIA, as well as add the 3 additional sizes to HERENS and ANDOLLA.

As a reminder, CEMETTE is a 6-panel above-the-knee flared skirt, with a straight belt at the waist and closed with a button in the centre front. It can be made with a multitude of different fabrics, wool, suede, gabardine, viscose…

What has been changed in this pattern?

• three additional sizes have been added

• the layout has been revised with the current visual identity

• seam allowances have been added

Indeed, at the beginning I considered seam allowances as a personal choice. However, after some thought, I realised that no one wants to start by adding seam allowances before cutting the fabric!
